My baby girl at 3 months

On August 23, Caitlin will be 3 months. Time has really flown and we have watched her change in front of our eyes daily.

1. She smiles every time she gets up from a nap.
2. She has stopped frowning as much as she used to.
3. Her mobile and play gym have become her best friends.
4. She can turn to her side and front
5. She can lie on her tummy and hold her head up for the longest time!
6. She sits in her bath, plays and laughs.
7. She loves to read.
8. She loves to listen to Indonesian (courtesy of our new maid Leni) and Malay radio channels.
9. She loves to listen to any kind of music.
10. She loves to dance.
11. Her drinking habits have become fussy.
12. She loves to watch tv.
13. She loves her walks in the evening.
14. She can recognise pepper and laughs when pepper comes near her.
15. She can't fit in many of her new born clothes.

What has stayed the same :

1. My gosh darned tummy that refuses to go down. Damn you slow metabolism. I should have had a child at 24!
2. The rubbish that I keep watching every day on the Bold and the Beautiful.
3. Seinfeld still makes me hysterical.
4. She still screams when her head gets wet.
5. She still screams when she sits in her car seat.
6. Everyone stranger that sees her still thinks she is a boy!

Like mother, Like daughter!

Well its official! Caitlin has discovered the wonders of television. The colours, the movement and the sounds! She has watched her first documentary on animal planet, on discovery channel about Japan and the pacific war, some cartoons on the central channel, Seinfeld and yes, i will admit it, the bold and the beautiful (but only a bit because me being hooked on it is apocalyptic enough). I have never loved TV so much like I do now but just in case anyone was wondering if its an all the day thing, rest assured it is not! She and I are in the middle of to kill a mockingbird as well!
