Goodbye dear Dr. Seng

The only picture I have of him. Caitlin seemed to know who he was and was very comfortable with him (which is very rare for her.)

It is a sad day for me as my dear gynae passed away suddenly. He had just retired and was telling me a couple of months ago when we met that he was too tired and stressed from having to worry about the safety of 2 people (mother and baby) during delivery so he was passing the baton on to his son.

So sad to know that just as he retired, his life ended. I will always remember him as the calmest person I know. Even when Caitlin was in serious distress during labour or when I almost lost her in the early months, he was always relaxed and his conversations and tone made me feel completely at ease.

Most importantly, I will never forget the most important decision he made for me and edward, which was to get Caitlin out before it was too late. If not for him, who knows what our lives would be like now. It was his years of experience, skill and expertise that saved Caitlin and myself.

He will always be in my heart and thoughts.
